Last Work Party of 2009!
Boyne work party this Saturday the 19th December. Assemble as usual at the sea lock at 09.30am. The long awaited gate lifting gear is assembled and now in working order, so when the flood abates and the tides are right we can at last finish the gates. The lifting beam and hoist are rated up to 8,000 Kg and are certified, the hoist is capable of moving along the beam so the load suspended can be lifted and shifted. As this is the last work party of this year the branch would like to take this opportunity of thanking all our volunteers and supporters for their endeavours in the past year and looking foreword to their continued support in the new year.
